My Aunt Sherry is a foodie like me! She enjoys good food, loves to eat “whole” foods and has plenty of food advice for many. I love sweets much more than she does and when she shared her chocolate avocado smoothie with me, I instantly fell in love. I like the fact that it feels as if you are drinking something from Dairy Queen, when you really aren’t! What I think makes this smoothie so delicious is the avocado. It adds this creaminess to it like no other. You must try it!
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk
1 Tbsp nut butter
1/2 banana
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/4 to 1/2 avocado
2 pitted dates, chopped
sprinkle flax seeds
3 ice cubes
