WW PB Pancakes

Posted on

Yup, that’s whole wheat peanut butter pancakes and they were “um, um, good.”

I usually don’t eat pancakes during the week because I think they are a nice weekend treat. They are somtimes heavy and leave a nice, full feeling in your belly. That isn’t the best idea when you have to be productive for 8 hours straight. Anyway…I did make these before work one day last week, and I was FINE! You should do it, too.

Adapted from here

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter chips (sprinkle on top)

Directions:

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Heat pan on medium heat and coat with spray or butter.
  3. Pour medium sized pancakes in pan and allow to bubble and brown.
  4. Serve with sprinkle of peanut butter chips and agave nectar or syrup.
